For you moon-watchers out there, we have a Waning Gibbous moon in the sky tonight.  We’ll be at the third quarter moon in three days, October 28.

Born on this day in 1838, in Paris, France, French composer Alexandre César Léopold Bizet, a.k.a. Georges Bizet.  Not a household name, but he wrote one of the most-performed operas in the WORLD, “Carmen”.
